CARSHIELD EXTENDED WARRANTY PROGRAM

Terms & Conditions​

Effective Period 

This extended warranty service is effective upon enrolment into the CarShield Extended Warranty Programme. A thorough inspection on your car will be conducted prior to enrolment.  The warranty will expire  in 5 years from the Warranty Start Date.

Scheduled Maintenance

Your vehicle must adhere to the service intervals outlined in the Warranty & Maintenance Service Record provided.

Private Use

Our warranty service is valid for private use vehicles only. The warranty will be automatically voided if the registered vehicle is used for commercial purposes (e.g., ride-hailing, delivery services, any profit-making activity).

 

Service Records

You should properly maintain your service records for warranty validation purposes. Each service performed must be validated by our service centre.

 

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

• Damages due to accident, negligence, vandalism, modifications, or accessory installations.

• Windshield and windows.

• Consumables like engine oil, lubricants, brake pads, filters, spark plugs, wipers, bulbs, fuses, etc. These are considered wear and tear items.

• Failure to perform any scheduled maintenance at our service centre according to the service intervals will void the warranty.

 

Amendments

CarShield Auto Care Sdn Bhd reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.

 

Towing

Additional charges apply for towing services exceeding the coverage provided by your existing motor insurance policy. The vehicle owner will be responsible for these charges.

Repair or Replacement of Parts

For any defective part repaired or replaced by us under this Extended Warranty Programme, the warranty on that specific part will be valid from the repair/replacement date until the end of the vehicle's overall warranty period.

Extension of Warranty

We offer to extend the warranty  for up to 9 years from your vehicle's registration date.  This ensures peace of mind and protection for your Alphard/Vellfire for years to come (subject to mutually agreed terms with CarShield Auto Care Sdn Bhd).
